Los Angeles, March 5 (IANS) Actor Ryan Reynolds says his nine-week-old daughter is either ìallergic to sleepî or she is trying to protect her parents from ìsleep monsters".
The 38-year-old gushed over his daughter with wife Blake Lively in an interview on ìThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonî on Monday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
ìIt's exciting, nine weeks now! I do everything (for her). Our baby in particular is, we think, allergic to sleep,î Reynolds said.
Fallon laughed and responded: ìI don't think that's possible.î
Reynolds replied: ìWe think that she thinks she's protecting us from the sleep monsters. Like, 'Oh, I've got to keep them up or the sleep monsters will get them.' "
After that Fallon further joked: ìNo, babies don't care about you.î
Reynolds added: ìThe trick I try to use is that Baby Einstein stuff, but for me, that's like horse tranquiliser. I could go down on a lit stove. You could push me out of an airplane. And that's the weirdest dreams in the world.î
