Kolkata : Paying a tribute to Phillip Hughes, who died Nov 27 after being hit by a bouncer, Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar said the Australian would be "missed".
“Will miss you Phil. Your enthusiasm to learn and drive for perfection was most impressive. #FarewellHughes," tweeted Tendulkar also attaching a photograph of him with Hughes.
Hughes died of injuries after he was hit by a bouncer Nov 25 at Sydney while playing a first class match.
His funeral was held Wednesday at his hometown Macksville, which was attended by thousands, including Indian skipper Virat Kohli and team director Ravi Shastri.
